Research & Development
Research and development is at the forefront of FSi Promat’s processes. Through our in-house laboratory and chemists, we design products to the highest standards. It is simply not enough to be the biggest manufacturer of passive fire protection products in the UK, but we also strive to produce the best solutions in the market.
At FSi Promat our products are tested to worldwide standards. These include: EN 1366–3, EN 1366–4, EN 13501-1, EN 13501-2 to name but a few. These controlled test procedures ensure that our products meet the specifications required in the highly demanding sector of passive fire protection.
FSi Promat manufacture Products in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 procedures and in doing so, ensure that they meet the highest quality criteria. Quality is paramount to our operation, and we constantly review ways to improve it right through from raw materials to packaging. The processes we have in place are designed to ensure that the products we manufacture comply with the rigorous safety standards.
At FSi Promat, we are also very much focused on the full life cycle of the product, and we will be implementing positive new ways to reduce our carbon footprint over the next few years including recycled sealant cartridges.
FSi Promat has a full team of technical staff on hand to guide you through the design of a workable passive fire protection system. The team will guide you to the correct section in the technical literature and will provide you with advice and guidelines to help you achieve the desired result.
